Who uses the app?
Smartphones, and particularly iPhones, are now ubiquitous in Australia. It is estimated that there are over 1 million iPhones in active circulation today and that number is growing every day. There are also myriad other smartphones, most of which use Google’s android or the Nokia symbian operating software.
Our users come in many different shapes and sizes but most are young city dwellers, for whom eating and drinking out is a prime leisure activity.
How does the app work?
Using the built in GPS the app displays exclusive promotions and offers from restaurants within the local area. The user can therefore search for local restaurants offering deals instantly, wherever they are – no physical coupon required!
When a customer chooses to exercise your offer, you will be presented with a redeemed voucher screen on the user’s handset. When the offer is redeemed all the data is sent to our backend systems, allowing you to track how many have been claimed and which offers have been most effective for your business.
How the backend works:
All merchants have access to our web backend that allows you to fully manage your offer(s) as follows:
- Control the text, category and terms and conditions for your offer.
- Restrict usage of your voucher.
- Activate or “hide” vouchers in real time.
- Real time reporting.
